Mahatma Jyotiba Phulel started giving education to the people by Sayajirao Gaekwad in Vadodara and Sayajirao Gaekwad continued the practice of compulsory education under his rule and was maintained by Govind Guruji, the founder of Santiniketan Vidyalaya after independence. Shri Govind Guruji was associated with the Association of Gorwa Cooperative Housing Societies and was concerned about increasing the educational facilities for children in the Gorwa area at the meetings of the Association.
Inspired by Guru Govindji, Gorwa Housing Society Education Trust Formed Presidency on 6/11/1981 and Shri Chaturbhai Khodabhai Prajapati Charitable Trust was formed on 8/11/1985 in the western part of Sanskarnagari Vadodara, modern settlements have sprung up with the establishment of industries, and with the increase of the urban area every year, the sophisticated area has been identified as the new Alkapuri. Shri Chaturbhai Khodabhai Charitable Trust has set up a huge education complex from ground floor to two floors on the Laxmipura Road .
